We purchased our home on Robson Street over a year ago. We have been fortunate to live in new homes before with good experiences, but this experience in particular has been exceptional. The builder, Stu Grierson, is meticulous, organized, and takes doing things correctly very seriously. After a year of living here, we can't say enough good things about the layout, finishes, the neighborhood, and construction of this home. The construction feels solid and is extremely heat/AC efficient and quiet, the finishes are clean and modern, and the layout flows and makes sense, we particularly love the white oak floors, the radiant heat, and the HRV system. Any punch list items (surprisingly few for new construction) have been completed quickly without having to remind Stu. I feel as if our small items are always important to him. His crew is friendly and always pleasant and helpful as well. We have requested several upgrades; dimmer switches, ski racks, phantom screens, etc., and these items have been carried out efficiently and with quality installation by his crew. In addition, Stu's wife, Lise, who is very creative, has made herself available to help with closet installation layouts, landscape layout and planting, and sourcing of garden furniture. Her help has been invaluable. Also, the neighborhood is a dream; a short walk into town and the rail trail, only blocks from the Uphill Market and Epiphany Bakery, and friendly, quiet neighbors who take good care of their homes. - HP & DP
